Yesterday's entry(24/4/08-thursday)
A beautiful day, a beautiful morning and here I am trundling off to coll in an un-airconned bus. But i've 3 more weeks..or is it 2 more weeks??? with my classmates(PM12) and friends at Taylors. Omg.. I'm going to miss them so so so much!! hehe. Well.. to get on with the day's story.. We(me,chiayin. munyee,chinwei,chongyi,samuel,adiel,junhorng,evan,natasha,nadia,hashim,melvin,minjern) went to Starbucks to sit around waiting for munyee to finish her breakfast there. She bought the last breakfast set you see. *sighs**shakes head*. Then since we haven't eaten our breakfast, we migrated over to Mcdonalds! (again..) I've been eating the breakfast set for three days in a row apparently. But yesterday i was ultimately lucky!! I ordered the Breakfast Mcvalue Meal set(RM8.50) and the Weekday Special set(RM4). Altogether comes up to RM12.50 right? BUT.. She(the woman who was PMS-ing) only charged me RM7.30!!!!!! WAHOO!! That was really lucky! Wanted to tell her about the mistake..but..well.. she was kinda busy at that time.. i..i.. didn't want to disturb her..(covering the dishonesty) HAHA! Peak hours are always helpful at times, which was around 8-9am. Omg. Mcd better not read this or i'm goign to be working behind the counters for the rest of my life. Aaahh!! hehe. But after 3 consecutive days of eating the fabled sausage mcmuffin.. i have a sore throat!! NOOO!! It really really hurts like crazy cause it's sort of constricting my throat. *sighs* But it's all for the greater good ain't it? Giving in to the callings from my stomach..
After the meal fiasco, it's lesson time! =.= I'm zombie-like through the whole day till BIO LAB!! Today we did this interesting experiment to test the enzymes in a germinating seedlings or in non-scientific term, the "taugeh"(chinese). And unbelievably, all of us didn't know what a shoot is at first! (we were required to cut off the shoot) After many years of education and we didn't know what shoot is! Unbelievable..Someone even asked the lab assistant what shoot is. but i'm not sure what he said thhough. HAHA! But we then "discovered" that shoot is the top of the seedling where te leaves are. hehe. yeah.. Then we set to work, mashing the seedling up with sand. Whoa.. You should have seen the mess on my table! It's scattered with sand everywhere!(sukleng said it's flying sand ^.^) But hey! It's not my fault!(covering mistake again) We had to macerate it on a white tile with a GLASS ROD! They sould have given us the mortar and pestle thing. I have always wanted to use that. hehe. Well getting on.. We were all rolling the galss rod over the seed and sand(secret technique taught by Ms.ho) and SUDDENLY chinwei did such violent rollings until the glss rod BROKE into TWO! Omg.. HAHAHAHA!!! But it was funny though! And after a few quiet moments(or rather noisy due to the rolling,pounding,swearing,laughing and the chiayin-chongyi fights), a sweet smellign aroma waft into our noses. IT"S A BURNING TAUGEH!! HAHAHA!! Samuel had forgotten to switch of his bunsen burner and it evaporated all the boiling water out and fried the seeds! HAHA!! I think junhorng took a photo of it. But the smell was really sweet. And i was hungry too that time! Hehe. Well that's all i guess for thursday..
But as for Friday.. I heard chongkuan telling chaiyin this "joke" that you can't eat drum sticks...........(the long silence stretches on).. so LAME LAR!! HAHA! That all for now! byeee!
